Wash Day (1)

OK, this was my first wash day. The first thing I did was a pre poo I did it different form last time i'm trying to find the method that works best for my hair, last time i used ORS carrot oil and used my herbal oil, that worked well for me but most people talk about pre pooing the hair with conditioner and oils so i decided to use this conditioner i had for a while and stop using its Dark and Lovely instant moisturizer or something like that the picture of it is below.

 I didn't like it the product contains mineral oil but I didn't see anything wrong with that because i was going too wash my hair, but the reason i didn't like it is when i put in and comb out my hair I saw more strands than I wanted too maybe i should have just finger combed my hair. Anyways I proceeded to was my hair I wash my hair with warm water in terms of when i shampoo this helps to get rid of build up better and I wash my hair with cold water when i am washing out the conditioner this allows my hair to retain moisture, I like doing this, it makes my hair feel good. Anyways I washed my hair with Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair and deep conditioned my hair with ORS replenishing conditioner I like the smell of both these products they both smell citrus-y. It was my first time using the Aphogee shampoo, the consistency of it is very weird, it kinda doesn't stay together well so its easy to drop out out hands when you are shampooing your hair, it lathers well though, it also contains sulfate but just one kind instead of a bunch, but it was an ok shampoo experience I just need to learn how to handle the consistency of the shampoo. Also yesterday I learnt there is a correct way to shampoo your hair I will post the video of this below.

I love the conditioner I have been using for a while actual before I started my hair journey, but now i mix it with oils. When I applied this I sat under the dryer for 15 minutes and washed it out, this deep treatment thing is really good it makes my hair look so pretty. After I shampooed my hair I applied my leave-ins I used the aphogee keratin green tea reconstructorizer and the aphogee pro vitamin leave-in with some hair mouse (remember when looking for a mousse try to find on without alcohol). My cousin then roller sets my hair, she told me not too deep treat my hair then add in leave in treatments or it will over treat my hair, I don't know if she is incorrect cause I love to deep treat my hair it helps my hair a lot and I just started using the aphogee products so I cant tell you how it works for my hair, so if guy know anything about this process causing my hair too be over treated please tell me cause I want to have healthy hair.

So I sat under the dryer for and hour and my hair wash not completely dried , so allowed it too air dry I would have kept it in until night but I was so anxious too see the results. Too me it was not 100% dry but my cuz said it was and plus my hands were moist so I was not sure myself still. Anyways this is the result

I think this came out great compared to my other roller sets before I started my hair journey (HJ) where my ends where frizzy and my hair all hard. The only problem I have is wrapping the hair, I don't know why its so hard too do. I didn't plan on doing a saran wrap but I wanted too show my cousin, so I'm doing a saran wrap, the results are below, in a next post I can post of videos I think help to show this method of roller set and saran wrap well.

And the results of my wrap, I will post it tomorrow, cause I just took of the saran and put a dime size of herbal oil in my hair and just covered my hair with a satin scarf, so tomorrow when I take off the scarf you guys will see the results. Anyways I plan on posting my hair regime
