First mishap
Well yesterday was in a rush so my hair never completely dried in the roller so my ends where breaking so i ran to a hairdress who flat twisted the hair i dont like it but the breakage stopped she treated some dandruff at the back which i didnt know i had. With so s-surl no drip my hair is doing really well and with my sock bun which i cover with a black silk so it doesnt dry out my hair my hair is doing well. So i decided to change my hair regime, i know again but yeah again. I want to use the keracare line but finish the products i have at home before i start buying anything new

Hey guys i am back
My hair journey last year pretty much failed but i am back again and i've learnt alot of new thigs and i have a new regimen
Wash Days (once a week)
Shampoo: Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo
Conditioner: ORS replenishing conditioner mixed with ABO herbal oil
Leave-ins (on wet hair): Smooth N shine mousse
S-curl no drip activator
One and Only Argan Oil
Rollerset hair
Leave-ins (on dry hair): ABO cream therapy olive oil
Africa's Miracle Sheen spray
Ok so i love my new regimen, i love the CON Argan oil it its sulfate free, yeah!!! and it detangles amazingly and it makes my hair so soft. Also I am still deep conditioning with ORS replenishing condtioner mixed with herbal oil, i jus love it, i stay under the drier for 20 minutes and let it sit for awhile then wash it out with cold water to close the cuticles. I shampoo my hair with warm water though, to open up the cuticles to get an effective cleanse. When i am done i add my usual leave-ins like last year and then rollerset my hair let it air dry for awhile and then go under the drier for 30 minutes. Then i add my leave-ins on dry hair i use the ABO cream therapy oilve oil to oil my scalp and moisturize my hair as well as seal with the oils i have in applicator bottle and the wrap my hair and spray it with the Sheen spray, i dont go under the drier again tho i just go to sleep.
In my applicator bottle i have in the herbal oil as last year but i mixed it with extra virgin castor oil and i also have started to take biotion. Well thats my regimen i moisturize and seal my hair twice a day and i wear protective styles most of the times

Growing Hair With Weaves!!!!
I wear my weaves for 3 months then give my hair a break and then I put in back another installment my aim is to wear weaves for a year, relax my whole hair then take care of it. Well when i take out this weave I have in I will spray it with Mane N tail detangler and detangle my hair effectively if you leave hair that shedded in then u will get knots and get in big problems. Anyways when i talk out thge hair I will clarify it with ORS Creamy Aloe shampoo then deeep condition it with a cheap conditioner called Ashleys mixed with ABO herbal oil. After that I will add my leave in's my smooth n shine mouse which is alchol free and spray some S curl no drip moisturizer on it along with my aphogeee leave ins and then my Argan oil too prevent frizzy ends. After my hair dries I will leave it free for a week then put in back and installment. Also after each installment I clip my ends, well after the 1st 3 months I dust them and then the next one I trim my hair if needed. Also I will moisturize the hair with ORS carrot oil and seal with oil and cover my hair with a silk scarp at nights. Then at the end of the week I will touch where I want too touch up wash my hair and then get my installment. When I have in my installments I moisture my hair with S-culr no drip and then I co-wash my hair one week and then wash it with shampoo the other week. I was also thinking after the year then I would rock naturual hair for a year then cream in so it will be 12niches of growth then I cream it

Weave take down plan
Go the hairdresser across the road and make her take out the weave, go how spray some Mane n tail detangler on my hair let it dry a little and carefully detangle the hair, the proceed with a pre poo (I'm not sure what kind of pre poo), the n the next morning clarify my hair with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo and do a protein treatment mixed with some other stuff, this include ORS Mayonaise, Ashley oil treatment shampoo and my ABO herbal oil. I will go under the dryer for the recommended amount of time and allow it too cool before washing it out, I will proceed with my normal leave ins and alllow it to dry straight with my hood dryer and give my hair a break for the week by just wearing it in a ponytail and then do a protective styles

Wash day 4
Ok, so today my regime changed a little, first i used my Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair and placed it in a bottle added water and mixed it up until it was all bubbly lol, washed my hair twice and then deep conditioned with ORS replenishing conditioner with oils and left it in my hair for and hour. I then washed it out and added my leave-in's which are alot these include ORS wrap mouse Aphogee green tea and pro vitamin leave-in, s-curl no drip and Argan oil too seal the hair and prevent frizz, I just added these leave-ins too my hair under the weave. I rollerset my hair exposed and allowed my hair too air dry and thats it really simple. Anyways I plan too leave the weave in for 4 weeks the reason why not 6 because I am not sure how my hair is being affected but if it comes out great i will leave it in longer next time. Anyways my next protective style will be me leaving out a bang, corn-rowing my hair in one with braid too make it last long and then adding a clip on too the end.
So my regime for my braid hairstyle will be moisture my hair with s-curl no drip and moisture my scalp with herbal oil, for wash days i will use ORS herbal cleanse dry shampoo and condition with a leeave-in conditioner, re oil my scalp and thats it.

Wash Day 3 (I have in a sew-in)
This i the video I am following. Wash day not as easy as she made it out too be. I will post the picture of the products I used. First I used the ashley shampoo which is my cheap shampoo and the added water too my aphogee I couldnt get it too lather right, so after 2 tries I decided too just put some in a cup add water shake then add too my hair that worked well, then ehen I was conditioning I felt uncomfortable using the cheap conditioner it had mineral oil and i didnt want it too touch my hair so after 2 rows I stopped and decided too just squirt some of my conditioner mix on my weave the weave also got tangled so I got my mane n tail detangler and go trid of the knots. For my next was day I plan too, just use the aphogee shampoo, put some in a cup add water, and when i condition just use my regular conditioner, also i will wash my air in the shower to decrease the amount of knots, but I am sure I still will have some so I will have my detangler on hand. Also I plan too keep the conditioner in my hair for 45 minutes like what the bottle says if you dont go under the drier. So I will post my results but this was my worst wash day so far
Wash day 2 and protective style
so i did it a little differet this time, after i washed my hair I applied the aphogee leave ins and my argan oil all with s curl no drip and ORS wrap mouse alot dont, but my hair came out really well. Anyways I started my summer job during the week and decide too get a sew in. I used milkway and did a sew in with the middle part. I care for it by using the s curl to moisturize my hair under the weave and use my ABO oil to seal, i do this once a day. I never took a good pic of the hair but hair is a pic

my fashionable protective hairstyle
Hey guys you must be wondering what i've up too, well in my last post i told you guys i wanted too buy a half wig at the time i wasnt sure wether i wanted it too be synthetic or human hair, but after going too the hair store i decided i want human hair. my style is to get the front of my hair flat twisted with my bang let ont and use flexi rods to spiral curl both my bang and the half wig. i found a great video on spiral curls which i will post
i just love her reults so i want too do this style with my half wig, her hair is really long though and it shrunk up with this style so i am in the phase of trying too decide how long i want the half wig too be, cause i also know with this style as time progress the curls look better and it loosens as well. i dont plan on flat twisting my own hair, I plan too go the hairdresser who flay twisted my hair the last time and make she do it, but this time i'm bringing my own styling product, so thats basically my protective style.
Also as you guys know i am on the five week aphogee challenge so when i am done i am going too need some new products i was considering the new creme of nature argan oil line, ther shampoo is sulfate free and moisturizing, so i was considering buying it, but i am going too reads some more reviews before I buy it. anyways later guys below i posted some videos relating too the info above so if have any questions feel free too ask
The half wig i was considering buying

Wash Day (1)
OK, this was my first wash day. The first thing I did was a pre poo I did it different form last time i'm trying to find the method that works best for my hair, last time i used ORS carrot oil and used my herbal oil, that worked well for me but most people talk about pre pooing the hair with conditioner and oils so i decided to use this conditioner i had for a while and stop using its Dark and Lovely instant moisturizer or something like that the picture of it is below.
I didn't like it the product contains mineral oil but I didn't see anything wrong with that because i was going too wash my hair, but the reason i didn't like it is when i put in and comb out my hair I saw more strands than I wanted too maybe i should have just finger combed my hair. Anyways I proceeded to was my hair I wash my hair with warm water in terms of when i shampoo this helps to get rid of build up better and I wash my hair with cold water when i am washing out the conditioner this allows my hair to retain moisture, I like doing this, it makes my hair feel good. Anyways I washed my hair with Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair and deep conditioned my hair with ORS replenishing conditioner I like the smell of both these products they both smell citrus-y. It was my first time using the Aphogee shampoo, the consistency of it is very weird, it kinda doesn't stay together well so its easy to drop out out hands when you are shampooing your hair, it lathers well though, it also contains sulfate but just one kind instead of a bunch, but it was an ok shampoo experience I just need to learn how to handle the consistency of the shampoo. Also yesterday I learnt there is a correct way to shampoo your hair I will post the video of this below.
I love the conditioner I have been using for a while actual before I started my hair journey, but now i mix it with oils. When I applied this I sat under the dryer for 15 minutes and washed it out, this deep treatment thing is really good it makes my hair look so pretty. After I shampooed my hair I applied my leave-ins I used the aphogee keratin green tea reconstructorizer and the aphogee pro vitamin leave-in with some hair mouse (remember when looking for a mousse try to find on without alcohol). My cousin then roller sets my hair, she told me not too deep treat my hair then add in leave in treatments or it will over treat my hair, I don't know if she is incorrect cause I love to deep treat my hair it helps my hair a lot and I just started using the aphogee products so I cant tell you how it works for my hair, so if guy know anything about this process causing my hair too be over treated please tell me cause I want to have healthy hair.
My roller set:
So I sat under the dryer for and hour and my hair wash not completely dried , so allowed it too air dry I would have kept it in until night but I was so anxious too see the results. Too me it was not 100% dry but my cuz said it was and plus my hands were moist so I was not sure myself still. Anyways this is the result
I think this came out great compared to my other roller sets before I started my hair journey (HJ) where my ends where frizzy and my hair all hard. The only problem I have is wrapping the hair, I don't know why its so hard too do. I didn't plan on doing a saran wrap but I wanted too show my cousin, so I'm doing a saran wrap, the results are below, in a next post I can post of videos I think help to show this method of roller set and saran wrap well.
And the results of my wrap, I will post it tomorrow, cause I just took of the saran and put a dime size of herbal oil in my hair and just covered my hair with a satin scarf, so tomorrow when I take off the scarf you guys will see the results. Anyways I plan on posting my hair regime

Relaxing my hair
Hey peeps, just too update you i used the ORS edge control to keep my edges under control while my hair was flat twisted. Anyways pulled out my flat twist, i just used my big teeth comb and used a little of my detangler, i didn't want to use much, cause i was going to relax my hair and with all that new growth I really wanted the relaxer to take to my hair, so i just sprayed the detangler where the elastics were in my hair (to prevent the twist form pulling out), this allowed the elastics to easily come out without pulling out any of my hair. My hair was stiff though due too that darn spritz. I recommend before going to a stylist find out what products she use when styling hair and if you don't approve of them you can find a different stylist or make the stylist use products what you want in your hair. The stylist I went too I liked how she styled my hair, so i plan to go back to her but bring my own product I was planing on buy the IC fantasia liquid mouse spritz cause it alcohol free.

Anyways I pulled out my hair Friday and i didn't trouble it cause i didn't want to get burned when i relaxed my hair so i just used the S Curl no drip activator to moisture my hair and luckily it was weekend so i had no where to go and could walk around my house looking like a hot mess. Anyways when it came to relaxing my hair Monday I went to grandmothers stylist let me just tell you guys now bad experience. She applied relaxer all over my hair even the ends, she said i had virgin hair. Which is not true guys always try your best to avoid getting the relaxer on your relaxed hair n o matter how long your hair hasnt been relaxed for, unfortunately for me i did not know this at the time (i always have bad experiences with stylist). the experience gets worst after she washed out the relaxer she put me under the dryer with my hair just so and blow dried it then flat iron, so much heat for a look that could have just been produced with a rollerset and a saran wrap. This just caused breakage which i already had a little of with the spritz incident and as soon as I got it under control thanks to the S curl this lady messes up my hair with overlapping the relaxers, she trimmed of the ends and I went home.

Luckily the products I had saved my hair I love ORS carrot oil it has a mix of protein and moisturize so your hair gets a balance which is important, it has no mineral oil or petrolatum it is the best product. Some people complain about the smell but i can get by it, but this stuff definately saved my hair. So i wrapped my hair every night and wear protective styles in the day this mainly includes me wearing clip ons and as time progress my protective styling options will increase. I wear clip on buns and clip on ponytails (well i only have one of each). For my buns I would advise you chose a bun that the part where you put your hair is deep cause you want it to cover the whole of your hair, and buy a human hair ponytail. To make the ponytail look real i just use clips. I love my bijoux clip on ponytail, just had too say that it looks so realistic.

In terms of products I use in my hair and my weaves, I use ORS carrot oil and seal with herbal oil at nights, in the day when styling i use ORS edge control on my edges and use a boar brush to catch up my hair, i also use Argan oil to add shine to my hair and use it on my ends as well cause it prevents frizz. For my weaves I use Africa's best organics Shea butter moisturizer to moisturize it i don't use it in my hair cause it has mineral oil and i use my ORS sheen spray as well on my weave it also has mineral oil, i don't want my products to waste so i will try my best to find a way to use them, but so far this has been working well for me, the only thing is i don't want to put my hair in a ponytail everyday cause i don't want too damage my hair edges so i plan to buy a half wig, so keep checking my blog to see how that works out. Next time I post something its going to be about my wash days. One more thing the thing i love the most about my regime is most of my products contain castor oil and castor oil helps to thicken the hair which is one of my aims
Beginning of Hair Journey
Hey guys this is a blog about my relaxed hair journey. in May i got my hair braided and just felt my hair was a mess so i decided to take care of it and this is how my hair journey began.
First i decided to buy products, i bought aphogee products such as the shampoo for damaged hair, pro vatimin leave in and the keratin green tea recontructorizer. I didn't buy the conditioner because i already had a light protein conditioner the organic root stimulator (ORS) replenishing conditioner. Also i bought moisturizers such as the ORS carrot oil and S Curl no drip activator. I also bought a wrapping mouse from ORS there edge control and there hair mayo, Africa's best herbal oil and Mane N tail detangler. In terms of tools i bought too use in my hair i bought a wide teeth comb, rollers, pins and a spray bottle. I will give you guys a review of the products as I go along.
After just two weeks of having the braids I decided to take them out they where itchy and not cute the girl who did them did not do a good job, I also was not moisturizing my hair enough but when i did i uses African pride braid spray and poured some olive oil in there. Con: The braid spray did not do a good job when it came to moisturizing my hair, an from what I have learnt from reading hair forms and watching youtube videos, synthetic braid dry out the hair fast so if you are going to braid your hair make sure you can dedicate the time to keep it moisturized, pro: natural ingredients Anyways I sprayed some of the Mane N tail detangler on my braids before I pulled them out and might I say this detangler is really good it usually take me awhile to pull out braids cause i don't want to damage my hair when it gets knotted up in the braid but with this detangler little to no knots, if i came across a tough one i just sprayed some detangler on it and bam knot gone.
After i finished pulled out the braids, i then pre pooed my hair. This was an important step causes pre poo is done to help limit the damage that can be caused when you shampoo due to most shampoo's containing sulfate, so this helps to put moisture in your hair to so not all moisture is stripped from the hair leading to breakage. The reason this was so important is because I was going to clarify my hair with ORS creamy aloe shampoo (i already had this thats why its not in the list of products about) which contains alot of sulfate.
How I pre pooed:
After I pulled out the braids I sectioned my hair in four using some clip and filled my spray bottle with water, i then placed my herbal oil which was in an applicator bottle in a cup of warm water. I sprayed my hair with the warm water and applied ORS carrot oil to my hair and then my oils. When i bought the ORS hair mayo i got a free small sample of the carrot oil, some people use conditoners too pre poo but i prefered to use the carrot oil cause i think the conditoner would be too heavy i then applied my oils all over my hair and to seal my ends and put my hair under a plastic cap and that was it. Some people sit under the dryer, some sleep with it over night you can do as you please and I recommend you research more about pre poo.
After i pre pooed i then clarified my hair and did a protein treatment with the ORS hair mayo (I applied it too my hair and sat under the dryer for the recommended amount of time). Guys when i washed out the mayo and looked in the mirror at my hair it was so damn GORGEOUS, i mean it was shiny and smooth my god that stuff is amazing can you say "hair staple". I then applied my my aphogee leave-in and some wrap mouse and sat under the dryer. I comb my hair straight down, i didnt do a rollerset because of the style i was going to do with my hair. After it dried it felt a little dry so i applied ORS carrot oil and sealed my ends with oil. Then pulled my hair in a ponytail and covered it was a satin scarf and went to bed.
The next day i went to a stylist to get my hair flat twist (i cant flat twist), the style i did was a protective style. She applied only one product to my hair spritz, i never had spritz in my hair before but soon after i left the salon i realized i hated it, it dries out the hair so fast i think its due to the SD Alcohol, and i think that is why after my hair finish drying it felt dry cause the ORS wrap/set mouse had in alcohol and alot of different types so i don't recommend that type, i reccomend the smooth n shine mouses theres some wiithout alcohol try those, anyways. When i reached home i applied so S curl no drip activator this stuff is good it definately moisturizes the hair, you can use it for braids sew in etc I like for styles like those cause its liquid i took off the spray thingy it had though because i didn't like the way it sprayed and used my africa's best braid spray spray thingy cause it allows the product to be better distributed in the hair. So that was my first week on my hair journey, I know alot right but i will keep you guys posted.
