WEAVE IN THE MIDDLE REGIMEN

Hey guys so I think i worked out all the kinks in my Weave care regimen, so I plan to take each section of weave and flat twist it and use a color rubber ban to secure it, create a bandu knot kind of style with the hair that is hanging out at the end after the flat twist is complete. This will allow me to apply the product more easily when i begin to wash out my hair.  I then will use warm water to wet my hair and open my hair cuticle, I will lather my hair twice with the Keracare weave and extensions shampoo and then proceed to conditioning my hair, I will use the the conditioner from the same line and apply it to my hairand pull out the twist and apply Herbal essense to my weave this is specifically done because it smeels really nice and makes the hair really soft I then will wash out my hair and proceed to apply myy leave-ins i will use the leave-in from the kercare line and use spiral rod curlers on my weave so my hair underneathcan be exposedand then roller set my leave out and sit under the drier till my hair is complete dry i then will apply my ABO hair and scalp cream therapy to my hair and scalp and then saran wrap my leave out. After sitting under the drier for 10 to 15 minutes i will pull out the spiral rods and the saran wrap an style my hair to my desire. I will moisturize my hair daily with s-curl no drip on my leave out and which every creme moisturizer i decide that day on my leave outs and seal my leave out with my ABO herbal oil. Durring mid week i will oil my scalp with EVCO and thats pretty much it. So the steps are:

  10. Apply Keracare leave-in conditioning mist to hair

Shopping plan

I plan to do my sew in thursday next week, so i am going to wash my hair one more time so i plan to buy the keracare humecto conditioner and then shop around for keracare weave and extension hair cae line. When my CON Argan oil shampoo and Keracare conditioner has finished i will buy either the one and only line or the elasta qp line, either way i will try them both and review them for you guys. Also while i have in my weave i will try to do reviews on sample products for you guys.
As for the silk elements lines i will have to do way more research on that.
So today I found the keracare line in the store and the shampoo seemed okay but the conditioner not, it felt watery like not a creme mixed with water just like some form of diluted liquid it did smell like mint so it would provide a tingling feeling to the scalp but will it moisturize the hair is the question. Well i still do plan on buying the products and trying it out on my hair before I put in a weave, but I think I will be using my Keracare humecto conditioner as well with the condtioner because I dont really see it being moisturizering at all to my hair

This is what keracare claims the conditioner will do:
Hair & Scalp Nutritive Conditioner contains the natural herb calendula and an exclusive quaternium conditioning blend to keep the natural hair hydrated and in excellent health. The commercial hair is appropriately conditioned for exceptional shine and manageability, but not weighed down or coated with heavy conditioners. It also helps control the scalp challenges of weave and braid wearers. Tea tree oil, peppermint oil, and menthol provide a refreshing tingle as the scalp is exfoliated and sloughed. Healthy scalp circulation is promoted.

found another inexpensive line ELASTA QP

Hey guys i found another line whcih has gotten good reviews and is affordable. The Elasta QP line has a:
  • CRÉME CONDITIONING SHAMPOO which is sulfate free
  • DPR-11 REMOISTURIZER (mosturizing conditioner)
  • INTENSE FORTIFYING CONDITIONER (protein based conditioner)
  • RECOVERY (moisturizer)
  • H-2 LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER
  • DESIGN FOAM

This line pretty much has it all and its affordable and has good ingredients. You can make a whole regimen form this line. Shampoo with the creme conditioning shampoo, condition with the DPR-11 and once a month with the fortifying conditioner. Add leave-ins such as the mousse and the leave-in, rollerset hair and when done apply some of the recovery moisturizer then wrap hair sit under the drier for 10 mins and bam there you have pretty hair. The only thing is i get dandruff from time to time and so i have been use ABO hair and scalp cream therapy as amoisturizer an i apply o my scalp as well and my dry scalp issues have stop  so with this line they dont have any thing for my scalp so i will have to use my ABO or optimum's dry scalp products and mid week i oil my scalp with castor oil, so there you have it a regimen.

found another affordable line SILK ELEMENTS

Silk Elements Kera Minerals this line has a shampoo and condtioner and a leave in so far it also has something else which i have no clue about.

Well from what i have read ppl with natural hair there curls dont come back to what it use to be with the system thingy i dont know much about, so i wudnt recommend cause it could probably lead too breakage for relaxed hair, but the shampoo and condtitioner and still good i think. I wont be purchasing this line too many unanswered questions. You guys can research it if you like and anyone out there who liked or tried it can tell me about it

Another silk elements line that has gotten mixed reviews is the color care line that has a sulfate free shampoo too.

New product line considering ONE AND ONLY ARGAN OIL

I want thinking about using one whole line of products. I was thinking of the CON Argan oil prodicts like how i love the shampoo but then when i went to the hair supply store i realize the moisturizer and conditioner had in mineral oil, I was also considering keracare but for a university student those prices are way out of my budget for such small bottles, so my next option was the One and Only Argan oil line

Now from what i have read the line has a sulfate free shampoo, it comes with a condtioner and teo mask the restorative mask and the hydrating mask, i read on a girls blog that the hydrating mask such and there creme which also came with the line suck, but everything else was good.

How I would use this line:

I would shampoo my hair once a week with the shampoo and alternate between the conditioner and the resorative mask.
I just went on sallys site and saw they have added new products to the line such as:

liquid spray to the treatment
the mousse which had no cons
hair spray
and the hair spray now this has also got rave reviews but i am not to big on the ingredients SD Alcohol 40-B (Alcohol Denat.), Hydrofluorocarbon 152a, Water (Aqua, Eau), Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Aminomethyl Propanol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Acetamide MEA, Panthenol, Benzophenone-4, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Hypnea Musciformis Extract, Hydrolyzed Rhodophycea Extract, Dimethicone PEG-8, Meadowfoamate, Fragrance (Parfum), Butylene Gylcol

SD Alcohol is very drying to the hair and its the first ingredients in this which means it is in high concentrations, so i dont see myself buying this, but the rest of the line looks pretty good, so i will be giving it a try

Sew-in regimen

Lets talk about my sew in regimen or what i would like for it to be. I want to use Keracare weave and extensions line on my wash days

according to the site this line Balanced formulas nourish and hydrate the hair you were born with and provide lightweight care for the hair that your stylist has added. The scalp gets what it needs, too, to stay clean, fresh and feeling good.
You can click on this link to read more about this line http://www.avlon.com/keracareweave.html
Anyways i wanna moisturize my hair daily with S curl no drip and seal my ends with ABO herbal oil and use products to treat my itchy scalp along with dandruff. Yh well thats all i want. Here is a video on this line, the stylist is just using it on the weave though

I also want to give a product review on ORS new product hair repair nourshing condtioner

I purchased it and gave it to my cousin to review cause i just washed my hair and was gonna do a sew in so i couldnt give my review, but i will soon. But she complianed about the smell and that it felt watery when you shake it in the bag. When she placed it on here hair she said it didnt feel so watery and that after sitting under the drier the smell went she then washed out here hair and said it is not as moisturizing as her design essentials condtioner and she wouldnt purchase it again so it got an epic fail in here book.
According to ORS this product should;
'Helps restore the moisture protein balance to dry, weak and damaged hair. Formulated with bananas to provide concentrated moisture and bamboo extract for added strength.'

So when i try it probably next week i will give you guys my opinion on this product

Hair update

Hey guys so I am posting a post about my hair progress and what is to come. Well after i self relaxed my hair the sunday I realized monday i had to go back to the gym, so i did a protective hairstyle so i wouldnt have to deal with my sweaty hair. I did a flat twist up in one like i normally would. My regimen for that style is the same i moisturized my hair daily with s curl no drip and sealed my ends with organics hebal oil, also during mid week i oiled my scalp with castor oil. I kept the style in for nearly 2 weeks and washed it once, well just the parts not flat twisted using my CON Argan oil shampoo and ORS replenishing condtioner. I'm getting tired of this conditioner and want to try something new, anyways i roller set the leave out and then after it dried applied some heat protectant and flat ironed the hair and sprayed on some sheen spray and my hair felt and look amazing everyone said so :-) so back to the take down. I used my mane n tail detangler and a comb and took it down and thats it, washed it with the same CON and ORS products and rollerset and my hair came out great, Right now i want to show you guys some pics.

This is my first hair progress pics. I think my hair looks thicker and longer, in the pic with pink shirt my hair had a little curl at the end so you cant see the full lenght but in the one with the white my hair is more straight.
